Crusaders Prepare To Host Bryant & Boston College

  • Holy Cross fell to Providence 133-99 on Saturday, Jan. 31.

  • Against Providence, freshman Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) took first and reset the school record in the one meter, five voluntary dives, with a score of 175.87 and on the one meter board, six optional dives, with a score of 273.30. In the pool, Holy Cross swept the 200 meter breaststroke event. Freshman Michael Burns (East Amherst N.Y.) took first with a time of 2:39.08, junior Brian Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) finished second with a time of 2:39.21 and sophomore Sean Hager (Westfield, N.J.) finished third with a time of 2:42.17.

  • The Crusaders host Bryant on Feb. 3 and Boston College on Feb. 5. These are the last two regular season dual meets for Holy Cross as they prepare for the Patriot League Championships on Feb. 19-21.

  • Last season, against Boston College, Holy Cross fell, 152-124. Junior Joseph McShane (Chatham, N.J.) took first in the 100 free with a time of 50.38 and junior Josh Rodriguez (Dudley, Mass.) finished first in the one meter dive with a score of 191.25.
