Holy Cross To Host Worcester City Championships

Worcester, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to host the Worcester City Championships. The meet is broken up into three sessions that will start on Friday, January 25 at 6:00 p.m. and continue on Saturday, January 26 at 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Hart Center Pool. Competing in the WCC along with Holy Cross will be Clark, Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and Assumption.

The men's swimming and diving team looks to earn its fourth win while the women look to gain their seventh Worcester City Championships title. Last year the men's team earned a first-place finish that came down to the final event which was the 400-yard freestyle relay. With the win in the relay they took the Championships with 399 points. The women dominated last year taking 15 out of 19 events taking the Championships meet with 437 points.
