WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr. and head men's swimming and diving coach Barry Parenteau have announced the Crusaders' schedule for the 2013-2014 season. The Holy Cross men's team is scheduled to compete in nine meets and will host two at the Hart Center.
The Crusaders will kick off their season on Oct. 5, as they compete at the Assumption Pentathlon. They will then travel to Fairfield (Oct. 12) and make their way to Boston College (Oct. 18-19) to compete in the New England Catholic Invitational later in the week.
Holy Cross will then return home to the Hart Center to host its first home meets of the season against Springfield (Oct. 26). Following the two home meets, the Crusaders will wrap up the 2013 portion of the season at the University of Rhode Island for the Harold B. Anderson Invitational (Nov. 22-23).
They open the 2014 portion of their season at the Worcester City Championship (Jan. 17-18) at WPI. The following week, Holy Cross will welcome Providence (Jan. 25) to the Hart Center for its final home meet, and then travel to Bryant (Feb. 1) for the last meet of the regular season.
Holy Cross then will travel to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the Patriot League Championship (Feb. 19-22).
