- The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will return to the pool on Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 21-23, at the Patriot League Championship, hosted by Bucknell. The morning sessions are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. while the evening sessions will start at 6:00 p.m.
- Last season, the Crusaders finished eighth at the Patriot League Championship hosted by Navy in Annapolis, Md. Senior Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) set a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke at 58.42 seconds and fellow classmate Bryan Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) set a new school mark in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 16:42.43. The 4x400 medley relay team comprised of junior Jan Yburan (Livingston, N.J.), Power, sophomore Michael Brower (Falling Waters, W.Va.) and senior John Vatalaro (Strongsville, Ohio) set a third school record with a time of 1:38.83.
- The Crusaders are coming off a home meet with Bryant in which freshman Tyler Wright (Waterboro, Maine) recorded first place finishes in the 100 butterfly and 200 individual medley. Yburan and junior Nick Videtti (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) also finishes first in 100 backstroke and three-meter dive, respectively.
- Prior to the final home meet of the year against Bryant, Lyons, Power, Vatalaro and fellow seniors Richard Pellegrini (Rockville Center, N.Y.) and Ned Supple (Needham, Mass.) were honored by head coach Barry Parenteau, diving coach Wilson Aybar and assistant coach Ian Hennessey in a brief ceremony for their hard work and dedication to the men's swimming and diving program over the past four years.
