2011-2012: Competed in five different individual events including the 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 100 and 200 butterflies and 200 individual medley…posted season-best times in the 100 back (1:06.83) versus Lehigh and in the 100 fly (59.21), 200 fly (2:12.89) and 200 IM (2:17.13) at the Patriot League Championship…named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2010-2011: Named Holy Cross’ Rookie of the Year...recorded season-best times at the Patriot League Championship in the 100 fly (57.79) and 50 free (24.22)...posted a season-best time in the 200 fly (2:25.46) versus Bryant...named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity swim team at Stratford H.S...team captain junior and senior year...named Stratford High School Male CAS-CIAC Scholar Athlete...received the Southwest Conference Sportsmanship Award in 2008...named to the SWC All-Academic team all four years...was Student Council president...member of  National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Anthony and Donna Russo...has one sister, Jamie...majoring in Political Science.
