2011-2012: Competed in nine different individual events including the 50, 100, 200 and 1,000 freestyles, 50, 100 and 200 backstrokes, 50 breaststroke and 200 individual medley…also a member of the 200 freestyle relay team…posted season-best times in the 50 free (23.26), 100 free (51.27), 100 back (57.21) and 200 back (2:03.94) at the Patriot League Championship and in the 200 IM (2:14.57) at the Worcester City Championship…named Holy Cross Rookie Swimmer of the  Year…named to Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Before Holy Cross: Four-year member of the varsity swim team at Hall High School…team captain senior year…received team Most Improved senior year…named All-Conference senior year…awarded CCC West All-Academic team honors in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011…member of National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society.

Personal: Son of Richard and Kathleen Horigan…has one brother (William) and three sisters (Colleen, Annie and Christine)…has not yet declared a major.
