- The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team traveled to Annapolis, Md. to compete in the final meet of the season Feb. 16-18 at the Patriot League Championship hosted by Navy. The Crusaders finished in eighth place as three new school records were set.
- Junior Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) set the record in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 58.42 on the second day of competition. On the same day, the 200 yard medley relay team consisting of sophomore Jan Yburan (Livingston, N.J.), Power, freshman Michael Brower (Falling Waters, W.Va.) and junior John Vatalaro (Strongville, Ohio) set a new school record finishing with a time of 1:38.83. On the final day of action, junior Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) swam into the record books in the 1,650 yard freestyle with a time of 16:42.43.
- Other top finishers for the Crusaders included Yburan and Vatalaro on day one of competition in the 50 yard freestyle.
- The Crusaders will graduate two seniors this year as the 2011-2012 season comes to an end.
