Holy Cross Men’s Swimming & Diving Falls To Boston College, 164-122

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore Brian Power (Southport, Conn.), freshman Jan Yburan (Livingston, N.J.) and freshman Nick Videtti (Woodcliff Lake, N.J.) each took home a victory Thursday night, but it wasn't enough to lead the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team to victory over the Boston College Eagles. Holy Cross lost the dual meet at the Hart Center by a score of 164-122.

Power touched the wall first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.24 and Yburan claimed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.03. Power finished second in the 50 breast with a time of 29.30 seconds, while Yburan finished second in the 100 back with a time of 59.78 seconds. Videtti finished with two top performances, in the one meter diving competition he claimed first with a score of 215.25 and on the three meter board he took first with a score of 205.13. Junior Connor Bowman (Princeton, N.J.) was also a top finisher, taking second in the 50 back with a time of 27.18 seconds.

Holy Cross will wrap up the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 5 when it hosts Bryant in a dual meet at 1:00 p.m. Prior to the start of the meet, the Crusaders will honor this year's seniors with Senior Day.
