Crusaders Return To Action At Worcester City Championship

  • The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team returns to competition on Friday-Saturday, Jan. 21-22 for the 10th Annual Worcester City Championship at the Hart Center. Friday's session is set to start at 6:00 p.m., while Saturday's first session will start at 10:00 a.m. and the final session will start at 3:30 p.m.
  • Last season, the Crusaders just missed claiming their fifth Worcester City Championship title, falling to WPI by a score of 367-348. Holy Cross had seven swimmers take first in an individual event. WPI now leads the team competition with five team titles, while the Crusaders have four.
  • Holy Cross spent the past week training at the University of Hawaii Aquatic Complex. The Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex (DKAC) serves as the home for the University of Hawai'i's swimming and diving and women's water polo teams. The facility, located on the University's lower campus, includes a 50 meter training pool and a separate 25 yard competition and diving pool.
