Men’s Swimming & Diving Suffers Loss At Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.  – Sophomore Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) finished first in three events Saturday afternoon as the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team fell at Springfield 167-127 in non-league action. Power won the100 breaststroke with a timeof 1:03.55, the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:19.50 and then claimed first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.78.

Freshman Jan Yburan (Livingston, N.J.) was a top finisher for the Crusaders, taking first in the 200 back with a time of 2:03.40 and second in the 100 fly with a time of 57.31 seconds.

The Crusaders will take a couple weeks off, returning to the pool on Nov. 19 for the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University.
