- The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will wrap up the 2009-2010 season at the Patriot League Championship on Feb. 18-20 in Annapolis, Md. Holy Cross is looking to improve on its eighth place performance a year ago.
- At last year's Championship, senior Brian Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) had a season-best performance in the 200 breast with a time of 2:14.78. Livingston's fastest time this season in the 200 breast was 2:24.28 at the Terrier Invitational. Sophomore Michael Burns (East Amherst N.Y.) finished the 200 breast with a season-best time of 2:17.30, Burns recorded his fastest time this season against Providence with a time of 2:21.84.
- Rookies Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) and Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) will lead the Crusaders at the Patriot League Championship. Power and Lyons have recorded top times in six events for the Crusaders this season. Lyons has team-best times in the 500 free (5:06.09) and 1,000 free (10:35.86), while Powers owns team-best times in the 50 breast (30.26), 100 breast (1:02.98), 200 breast (2:17.12) and 200 IM (2:07.49).
- Senior Joseph McShane (Chatham, N.J.) will lead the Crusaders in the sprint free events as he has the fastest Holy Cross time in the 50 free (23.20), 100 free (49.97) and 200 free (1:51.21) this season. McShane recorded personal-best times in all three events at the 2009 Patriot League Championship. In the 50 free he finished with a time of 22.18 seconds, in the 100 free he finished with a time of 48.05 seconds and in the 200 free he finished with a time of 1:46.63.
