Men’s Swimming & Diving Falls To Providence

WORCESTER, Mass. - Freshman Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) led the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team with a win in the 100 breast as the Crusaders fell to Providence on Saturday afternoon at the Hart Center. Power won the race with a time of 1:03.21.

Senior Ryan Boate (Pleasantville, N.Y.) finished second in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:54.25, while fellow senior Joshua Rodriguez (Dudley, Mass.) placed third on the one meter and three meter boards with scores of 207.52 and 133.20 respectively. Also taking second place was sophomore Connor Bowman (Princeton, N.J.) in the 200 back with a time of 58.55 seconds, sophomore Michael Burns (East Amherst N.Y.) in the 200 breast with a time of 2:21.84 and freshman Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) in the 200 free with at time of 1:53.42.

Holy Cross will close out its regular season schedule with a dual meet at Boston College on February 4, before traveling to the Patriot League Championship on Feb. 18-20 in Annapolis, Md.
