  • The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will return to action for the first time in 2010 against Bryant on Wednesday Jan. 20 in Smithfield, R.I.
  • Holy Cross hosted Bryant last season at the Hart Center, falling 139-123. Senior Brian Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) led the Crusaders with a first place finish in the 50 breast with a time of 29.31 and a first place finish in the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.55.
  • Holy Cross will host the Worcester City Championship on Jan. 22-23 at the Hart Center. Last year the Crusaders finished in second place with 372 points, while WPI took first with 397. Sophomore Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) broke the Worcester City Championship's one meter diving record with a score of 264.55. Also leading the Crusaders was junior Sean Hager (Westfield, N.J.) with a first place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:37.22, while Livingston took first in the 100 breast with a time of 1:03.41 and first in the 200 breast with a time of 2:20.94.
  • Holy Cross owns WCC meet records in the 1,650 (17:03.69), 200 free relay (1:29.85), 200 free (1:45.31), 100 breast (1:03.08), 200 fly (1:58.25), 50 free (22.29), one meter diving (264.55), 100 free (47.07) and the 400 free relay (3:15.77).
