Crusaders Wrap Up Competition Until After Winter Break

  • The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team wrapped up the 2009 portion of it schedule at the Harold Anderson Invitational on Dec. 4-5 and will return to the pool on Wednesday, Jan. 20 at Bryant.
  • At last weekend's Invitational, sophomore diver Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) took first on the three meter board with a score of 251.85. DeVito's best performance this season came on Oct. 31 at the Hart Center against Springfield when he scored 310.58.
  • Last weekend, junior Sean Hager (Westfield, N.J.) had season-best performances in the 200 and 400 IM. Hager finished the 200 IM in eighth place with a season-best time of 2:07.90, while he took fourth in the 400 IM with a season-best time of 4:37.86. Hager is the top Holy Cross performer in both events, while he also has a team-best time of 2:12.53 in the 200 fly.
  • Senior Brian Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) recorded two season-best times last weekend. Livingston swam a season-best time of 1:05.57 in the 100 breast and a season-best time of 2:10.43 in the 200 IM.
