- The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will travel to the Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University on Friday-Saturday, November 20-22 in Boston, Mass.
- At last year's Terrier Invitational, senior Joseph McShane (Chatham, N.J.) led the Crusaders with three top 24 finishes and at the time three season-best performances. In the 50 free McShane finished in 20th place with a time of 22.92, in the 200 free he finished 21st with a time of 1:50.58 and in the 100 free he touched the wall in 18th place with a time of 49.14. McShane improved on all of those times at the 2009 Patriot League Championship, swimming a time of 22.18 in the 50 free, 48.05 in the 100 free and 1:46.63 in the 200 free.
- Multiple members of the team recorded personal-best times against Patriot League opponent Army on November 11. Junior Sean Hager (Westfield, N.J.) recorded a career-best time of 1:58.66 in the 200 free, senior Ryan Boate (Pleasantville, N.Y.) recorded a personal-best time of 1:05.04 in the 100 back, sophomore Connor Bowman (Princeton, N.J.) in the 200 free (1:53.34) and 500 free (5:15.30), freshman Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) recorded a top time of 53.61 in the 100 free, senior Brian Livingston (Auburn, Wash.) with a time of 4:49.21 in the 400 IM, freshman Chris Malfitano (Harrison, N.Y.) with a time of 35.33 in the 50 back and 30.29 in the 50 fly, senior Matt Mullaney (Livingston, N.J.) in the 50 fly (30.80) and 100 fly (1:07.73), freshman Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) in the 50 breast (30.26), sophomore Matt Sottile (Wethersfield, Conn.) in the 200 free (2:04.73), freshman Edward Supple (Needham, Mass.) in the 50 free (25.18) and 500 free (5:38.90) and freshman John Vatalaro (Strongsville, Ohio) in the 50 free with a time of 24.54.
