Crusaders Take Weekend Off, Set To Host Army On Nov. 11

  • The Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team will take a week off before welcoming Patriot League opponent Army to the Hart Center on Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 4:00 p.m. Last season the Crusaders fell to the Black Knights in West Point, 162-131.
  • Last week against Springfield, sophomore diver Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) narrowly missed breaking the school record on the three meter board. DeVito scored 310.58, just short of his school record 311.50 points. DeVito currently holds all Holy Cross school records on the one meter and three meter diving boards.
  • Newcomers Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.) and Connor Bowman (Princeton, N.J.) led the Crusaders with first place finishes against Springfield. Lyons won the 1000 free with a time of 10:35.86, while Bowman took first in the 100 back in his first race as a Crusader with a time of with a time of 57.71.
