Holy Cross Men’s Swimming & Diving Defeated At Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Sophomore diver Adam DeVito (Walpole, Mass.) took first in the one meter and three meter diving events as the Holy Cross men's swimming and diving team fell to Fairfield, 166-120, Sunday afternoon in Fairfield, Conn.

DeVito took first on the one meter board with a score of 260.83. He then claimed first on the three meter board with a score of 252.60, while teammate senior Joshua Rodriguez (Dudley, Mass.) took second with a score of 178.65.

In the swim events, the Crusaders were paced by newcomers Brian Power (Southport, Conn.) and Brian Lyons (Greenwich, Conn.). Power finished second in the 200 meter breast with a time of 2:39.05, while Lyons took second in the 400 free with a time of 4:33.19 and in the 800 free with a time of 9:24.05.

The Crusaders return to Worcester on Saturday, Oct. 31, welcoming Springfield to the Hart Center at 1:00 p.m.
