Trott, Leonard Named to All-League Teams

Worcester, Mass. - Sophomore tri-captain Josh Trott (Glen Cove, N.Y.) has been selected to the 2004 Patriot League First Team and junior defender Kevin Leonard (Unionville, Conn.) has been name to the league's Second Team, as announced by league officials this afternoon.

Trott, the 2003 Patriot League Rookie of the Year and Second Team selection last season, started all 14 games he played in this season, and led the Crusaders in goals (5), points (12), shots (54), and shots on goal (24). He was tied for first on the team with assists (2).

The Glen Cove, NY native was also tops in the League when playing league opponents in goals (4), goals per game (0.67), points (9), and points per game average (1.50). For his career, Trott has 9 goals and 3 assists for 21 points in 29 starts.

Leonard, the backbone of the Crusaders defense, earns his first career league award. The junior back also started all 14 games for the Crusaders, and his consistent play at the sweeper position helped lead the team to five shutouts this season. Leonard also contributed offensively, recording one goal and two assists for four points.

The Crusaders finished the season with a 7-6-2 overall record. They were 1-4-2 in league play.
