WORCESTER, Mass. - Senior forward Josh Trott has been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team after a record breaking season.
Trott scored 15 goals in 17 games his senior season, setting the Holy Cross single-season record for goals scored. The senior forward led the Patriot League in shots per game (3.65), points per game (1.88) and goals per game (0.88). Nationally, Trott finished in the top 10 in goals per game. He was selected to the First Team All-Patriot League at the completion of this season and was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year.
Trott finished his four years at Holy Cross with 73 points, 33 goals and seven assists. He ranks third in all-time career goals and fourth in career points at Holy Cross.
Other Patriot League players named to the All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team include three players from Lehigh University (John O'Reilly, Joe Verdi, James Taranto).
