  • Sophomore Matt Beckley (Congers, N.Y.) scored his first season goal against Sacred Heart in the 1-0 win. This is Beckley's second career goal and first game-winner.
  • Junior goalkeeper Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) has only allowed three goals in five games played, earning him two shutouts so far this season. With a 0.77 goals against average, Booth is averaging 2.6 saves per game.
  • Senior defender Jerry Dickinson (Pittsburgh, Pa.) was named the Patriot League BRINE men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week for competition from September 8-14. Dickinson rallied the Crusaders to a 3-2 victory against Northeastern with two unassisted goals Saturday night.
  • Sophomore forward Kyle Miller (Woodbury, N.J.) recorded his first season goal against Northeastern Saturday night, assisted by senior defender Alejandro Melean (Miami, Fla.).
  • Melean picked up two assists this week, bringing his season total to one goal and two assists for four points.
