Worcester, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's soccer game against the University at Albany, originally scheduled for Saturday, September 17, has been postponed. The game will be played on Sunday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hart Soccer Field.
Sunday's game will be the first match-up between Holy Cross and Albany since the 1999 season. That year, Holy Cross defeated Albany, 2-1 in Worcester.
Holy Cross (3-2-0) is on a three-game winning streak after wins over St. Francis (N.Y.), Canisius and Sacred Heart. During those contests, the Crusaders have outscored their opponents, 10-2.
Albany comes into Sunday's game at 3-2-1 overall. The Great Danes are most recently coming off a 2-1 loss to Colgate on Wednesday. Albany also defeated St. Francis (N.Y.) and Canisius last weekend, by a combined score of 6-1.
