Worcester, Mass.- The Holy Cross men's soccer game on Saturday, September 2 versus Maine at Linda Johnson Smith Stadium, originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m. will now be played at 3:00 p.m. This will mark the first regular season men's soccer game ever played at the brand new stadium.
The Crusaders enter the game with an overall record of 1-0, following Sunday afternoon's season opening 3-1 victory over Quinnipiac. Senior Josh Trott (Glen Cove, N.Y.) scored a pair of goals for Holy Cross in the win, with junior Sefton Kincaid (Orlando, Fla.) accounting for the other goal. Maine stands 0-3 on the season, falling to Massachusetts (2-0), Boston College (4-1) and Northeastern (2-1). Cooper Friend and Philip Reed have both scored one goal for the Black Bears so far this season.
