HAMILTON, N.Y. - Felipe Castrillon (Weston Fla.) scored two goals and Andreas Andrews (Los Angeles, Calif.) had two assists for the Holy Cross men's soccer team in the first half to keep the Crusaders in the game, but Colgate scored four in the second half to defeat the Crusaders 6-2 in Patriot League action Saturday at Van Doren Field.
Sophomore Felipe tied the game at one after Colgate scored first and then tied the game again at two less than ten minutes later. Felipe totals seven goals as sophomore Andrews tallied four assists this season.
After an even first half, Colgate came into the second half strong scoring one in the first five minutes and then three more in the last 20 minutes of play to win the game and improve to 8-3-5 overall and 3-1-3 in league play.
Freshman goalkeeper Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) had four saves for the Crusaders. Colgate out shot Holy Cross 18-8.
The Crusaders end their 2006 season 5-11-1 overall and 1-6 in the Patriot League.
