WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Holy Cross men's soccer fell to American, 1-0, in Patriot League on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 7-4-3 (3-1-1 Patriot League) while the Eagles improve to 7-5-2 (3-0-1 Patriot League).

With less than 25 minutes left in the game, at the 65:19 mark, Dor Yasur kicked a shot from 35 yards out on the field, netting the ball in the upper right corner of the net.

Junior goalkeeper Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) made six saves for Holy Cross while American's Matt Makowski had four saves and earned his fifth shutout of the season.

The Crusaders return to action when they travel to Boston College for a game on Tuesday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m.
