WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Josh Trott (Glen Cove, N.Y) scored the tying goal early in the first half and the Crusaders held the tie through double overtime to Hartford Tuesday in men's soccer non-conference action.

Hartford scored in the first six minutes of the game, but Holy Cross came back to knot it as Trott scored off a cross from Felipe Castrillon (Weston, Fla.) at 15:04. With the goal Trott break the school record for most goals in a season with 15 and ranks third with 33 career goals.

In the next 75 minutes of the game Hartford out shot Holy Cross 9-4, but both teams could not put another goal in the back of the net forcing overtime. The extra time did not change the score as the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

Freshman goalkeeper Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) had five stops for Holy Cross.

The Crusaders are now 5-10-1 overall while Hartford is 4-8-5 on the season.

Holy Cross will travel to Colgate to play their last regular season game Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
