Dmitry Strunkin is in his second full season as the Holy Cross men's soccer assistant coach. Strunkin brings with him a wealth of knowledge and professional experience on the soccer field, especially at the goalkeeper position. He most recently played for the Connecticut Wolves Pro-Soccer Club, where he was called up to play a game for the New England Revolution in 2002. Prior to his time in Connecticut, he spent the 2001 season with the New Hampshire Phantoms Pro-Soccer Club. Strunkin's soccer experience also extends internationally, having played two years for Dynamo Stavropol, in the Second Division of the Professional Football League in Russia, and two years for Zenit (St.Petersburg) Professional Football Club in the Premier League. Strunkin also served as the Camp Director of the Star Goalkeeper Academy in New Britain, CT from 2001-2002. Strunkin earned a Master's degree in Business Administration at Northeastern University in 2004. He is a 1998 graduate of the University of Economics and Finance at St.Petersburg in Russia.
