Justin Kahle Named Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach
WORCESTER, Mass. – The College of the Holy Cross has named Justin Kahle as an assistant men's soccer coach, as announced by head men's soccer coach Marco Koolman and Athletic Director Nathan Pine.
"I am excited to have Justin as part of our coaching staff," said Koolman. "Justin brings a lot of NCAA Tournament experience to our program with two appearances as a player and three as part of the staff. I think this experience will be very beneficial to our players as we continue to move our program in a positive direction."
Kahle, who is a 2010 graduate of Providence as a Management major, has spent the last four years as the Director of Soccer Operations for the men's soccer program at Providence. During his time as the Director of Soccer Operations the Friars have made three NCAA Tournament appearances. Among his many duties, Kahle oversaw scheduling, assisted with travel arrangements, equipment and community relations. Kahle was a head coach of the Rhode Island Olympic Development Program for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He is also a coach and the academy co-director of Bayside Futebol Club.
Kahle was a four-year member of the Providence men's soccer team as the Friars made the NCAA Tournament in 2006 and 2007. He started in 79 consecutive games as a defender. Kahle was selected to the 2009 Big East Tournament team.
