Crusaders To Conclude Season At Harvard On Nov. 6

  • The Holy Cross men's soccer team will conclude the season with a game at Harvard on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 p.m. The Crimson, who will conclude the season at Penn on Nov. 10, are 2-10-3 overall and 0-5-1 in the Ivy League. The Crusaders are 0-4-1 versus Harvard over the last five meetings.
  • Junior Josh Cintas (San Diego, Calif.), who earned first team All-Patriot League honors, leads the team with a career-best six goals and a career-best 13 points, while he also has one assist. His six goals and 13 points are the most for a Crusader since the 2008 season when Kyle Miller posted nine goals and 18 points. His six goals are tied for second in the Patriot League, while his 13 points are tied for fifth in the league. He is also tied for second in the league with a team-best two game-winning goals. For his career he has seven goals and six assists for 20 points.
  • Junior co-captain Monty Sanders (Temecula, Calif.), who also received first team All-Patriot League accolades, has three goals and a career-best two assists for a career-best eight points. His three goals are second on the team and his eight points are tied for second. He netted his first career game-winner with his goal in the 2-1 victory versus Navy on Oct. 27. For his career, Sanders has seven goals and two assists for 16 points.
  • Juniors Tommy Uttaro (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Kevin O'Connell (Basking Ridge, N.J.) are tied for the team-lead with four assists. Their 0.27 assists per game are tied for fourth in the Patriot League. Uttaro also has two goals for eight points. His eight points are tied for second on the team. The four assists are a career-best for Uttaro. He has five goals and six assists for 16 career points. The four assists are also a career-best for O'Connell. He also has one goal this season for six points, while he has five goals and six assists for 16 career points.
  • Freshman goalie Kevin Wright (McKinney, Texas) is third in the Patriot League with a .750 save percentage, while his 3.82 saves per game are fourth. His three shutouts are tied for fourth.
