Quinnipiac's William Daniels scored the Bobcats' goal in their 2-1 loss to Boston College to start the season.
Today is Marco Koolman's first game as the head coach of the Holy Cross men's soccer team. He owns a career record of 201-75-28 as a collegiate head coach, and currently ranks 13th all-time in NCAA Division II history with a .707 career winning percentage. He spent nine seasons as the head coach at Franklin Pierce University from 2000-2008, with the Ravens winning the NCAA Division II national championship in 2007. Koolman was the head coach at Gannon University from 1991-1996. Koolman came to Holy Cross from the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, where he served as the head coach and director of soccer from July of 2011 to March of 2012. He was previously on the staff at Boston College for two years, during the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
