Men’s Soccer Falls, 1-0, In Patriot League Action At Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. – A goal in the final minutes of the first half is all Colgate needed to defeat the Holy Cross men's soccer team, 1-0, Saturday afternoon in Hamilton, N.Y. With the loss, the Crusaders fall to 3-5-1 overall and 0-2-0 in league play, while the Raiders improve to 5-1-3 overall and 2-0-0 in league play.

Colgate's Shane Conlin headed a ball past Holy Cross keeper Evan Polanik (Holliston, Mass.) at the 42:47 mark in the first half to score the only goal of the game. Conlin's goal would prove to be the game winner, as both teams were shut out of the second half.
