Team captain Thomas Booth (Patchogue, N.Y.) made five saves in the game on six shots on goal.
- Booth's five saves in the season-opener against Providence were a major improvement from last year, as he marked one save in the 2008 game against Providence. Against Central Connecticut last year, Booth tallied five saves in the 90 minutes of regulation, falling to a record of 1-1 on the season.
- Junior Jon Werth's (University Park, Md.) three shots in last weeks game against the Friars were two more than his game against Providence in 2008. He looks to continue his offensive attack this week, as he tallied one shot against Central Connecticut last season as well.
