Pat Godfrey To Compete At 2007 World Rowing Championship

WORCESTER, Mass. - Former Holy Cross rower Pat Godfrey (Class of 2000) has been selected to represent the United States at the 2007 FISA World Rowing Championship, scheduled to take place from August 26-September 2 in Munich, Germany. This marks the second straight year in which Godfrey has made the roster for Team USA, as he also competed in the 2006 World Championship.
Godfrey will compete in the men's pair with coxswain, where he will team with Dave Florio and Steve Kasprzyk. All three members of the team currently compete for the Pennsylvania Athletic Club.
During his time at Holy Cross, Godfrey served as captain for the 1999-2000 men's rowing team and was a member of the Patriot League champion varsity eight. He also participated in the Championship International Regatta, where Holy Cross took second place.
