Men's Rowing Earns Spot In National Top 20 Rankings

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Holy Cross men's rowing program has earned a spot in the national rankings this week, as the men's varsity eight boat was ranked top 20 by U.S. Rowing. The Crusaders enter the poll as the 19th-ranked team in the nation, following their 13th-place finish at the Eastern Sprints last weekend.

Earlier this season, the varsity eight won the grand final at the Patriot Challenge, while placing second at the New England Rowing Championship and third at the ECAC National Invitational Collegiate Regatta.

The Holy Cross men's rowing team will conclude the 2005-2006 season from June 1-3, when the varisty eight and the second varsity eight take part in the Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship Regatta on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J.
