WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr., and head men's rowing coach Todd Pearson have announced the men's schedule for the 2013 fall season. The Crusaders will compete in five regattas.
The team kicks off its season on Saturday, Oct. 12 when it hosts the Snake Regatta at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester. The Crusaders are hoping to open their season with a fourth consecutive win at this event, with the varsity eight placing first the past three years. The following week, Holy Cross returns to the Head of the Charles Regatta for races on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Sunday, Oct. 20. On Saturday, Oct. 26 the team will host and compete in the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge in Worcester followed by the Princeton Chase Regatta in Princeton, N.J. the next day on Sunday, Oct. 27. The Crusaders then close their fall season at the Green Monster Regatta on Sunday, Nov. 3 in Hanover, N.H.
