2012-2013: Rowed for the freshman eight that defeated Marist (March 30)…member of the third varsity eight that defeated Georgetown (April 20) and Rutgers (April 21)…competed with the third varsity eight at the Eastern Sprints (May 19) and the open four at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2).

Before Holy Cross: Spent his first three semesters of college at Ohio State…ran triathlons with the Ohio State Triathlon Club, medaled in three races including the Revolution3 half ironman in Sandusky, Ohio…four-year member of the varsity rowing team at St. Ignatius High School for coach Matthew Previts…team captain in 2011…won the silver medal at the 2011 Midwest Scholastic Championship in the men’s pair…won 10 state and regional regatta medals…team won the 2009 and 2011 Midwest Scholastic Rowing championship…also a member of the Wildcat Rowing Club for coach Previts…one-year member of the varsity wrestling team.

Personal: Son of Ridley and Cheryl Watts…has two brothers (Ridley and Michael) and two sisters (Ellen and Mary)…his brother Michael is his twin…his sister Ellen was a member of the cross country team at Denison (Class of 2002)…majoring in Economics.
