Men’s Rowing Competes At Day Two Of IRA National Championship

GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in the second day of the 111th Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship on Saturday on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif.

The No. 20 nationally ranked varsity eight placed fifth in the third semifinal out of six boats with a time of 6:05.825. No. 13 Pennsylvania won with a time of 5:54.681. The Crusaders will compete in the fourth-level final on Sunday, June 2 at 2:45 p.m. (Eastern Time)

The open four placed sixth in the second semifinal out of six boats with a time of 6:59.270. California won with a time of 6:32.618. The Crusaders will compete in the petite final on Sunday at 12:12 p.m.

The second varsity eight, which did not compete on the second day of competition, will be in the third-level final at 1:04 p.m.
