2011-2012: Coxswain of the freshman eight in all seven spring regattas...the freshman eight won a race against Boston College (April 28)...also the coxswain of the freshman four that won a race with Georgetown (April 14)...coxswain of the varsity four that won the petite final at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2).

Before Holy Cross: Member of the varsity swimming team at Polytechnic High School…member of the Los Angeles Cougars club team of the Southern California Rugby Football Union…team won the SCRFU championship and placed fifth in the nation in 2008…awarded AP Scholar with Distinction and National Merit Scholar…an Eagle Scout…founded Endurance for Outreach, which was the largest service organization at his high school.

Personal: Son of Paul and Honia Ryan...has not yet declared a major.
