Men's Rowing Sweeps Bucknell

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team swept Bucknell on Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond. The varsity eight, the second varsity eight and the third varsity eight were all victorious.

The varsity eight defeated the Bison with a time of 5:58.5 as Bucknell posted a time of 6:02.1. The second varsity eight won with a time of 6:10.4 as the Bison recorded a time of 6:15.4. The third varsity eight placed first with a time of 6:21.5 as Bucknell posted a time of 6:48.1.

"Today was a great day for the team," said Holy Cross head coach Todd Pearson. "It is always special when every boat is able to come away with a win, especially against a tough, well-coached team like Bucknell. All three boats continue to improve each week and we'll look to build momentum as we now prepare for the Eastern Sprints."

The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, May 13, when they compete at the Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond.
