  • The Holy Cross men's rowing team will take on Bucknell on Lake Quinsigamond on Sunday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. This will mark the conclusion of the 2011-2012 regular season. Last season the Crusaders won three races versus Bucknell with the varsity eight, second varsity eight and third varsity four all earning victories. Go here for the schedule
  • Seven out of the past nine teams the Crusaders' varsity eight have raced against during their spring season have been nationally ranked. The Crusaders faced No. 13 Columbia and No. 17 Dartmouth to open their spring season, followed by No. 6 Navy and No. 20 George Washington at George Washington Invitational. Holy Cross then took on No. 17 Georgetown before racing No. 10 Northeastern and No. 18 Oregon State on the Charles River. Bucknell will be the second straight unranked team the Crusaders have faced after the matchup against Rutgers on April 22.
  • The second varsity eight has won three straight races including a victory against Rutgers. The Crusaders earned a first-place finish in three out of four races against the Scarlet Knights, as the varsity eight and the second freshman eight also won.
  • The Crusaders will take a break from competition before returning to action at the Eastern Sprints (May 13) on Lake Quinsigamond as they will row against some of the best teams in the nation. Holy Cross will conclude the season pending qualification at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2) in Camden, N.J.
