Men's Rowing Takes Three Of Four Races Versus Rutgers

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team won three of four races versus fellow EARC opponent Rutgers on Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond. The Crusaders' varsity eight, second varsity eight and second freshman eight were all victorious.

Holy Cross won the varsity eight race with a time of 5:50.6, while Rutgers tallied a time of 5:58.8. The Crusaders took the second varsity eight race with a time of 5:58.9, while the Crusaders' third varsity eight (6:06.8) placed second and Rutgers' second varsity eight (6:09.0) finished third. Rutgers won the freshman eight race with a time of 6:06.1, while the Crusaders posted a time of 6:07.5. Holy Cross won the second freshman eight race with a time of 6:31.6 defeating Rutgers who finished with a time of 6:39.3.  

The Crusaders return to action on Sunday, April 29, when they race versus Bucknell on Lake Quinsigamond.
