Crusaders To Take On Georgetown

  • The Holy Cross men's rowing team will take on EARC opponent Georgetown in Princeton, N.J. on Saturday, April 14 on Lake Carnegie. Georgetown's varsity eight was ranked No. 16 in last week's USRowing Collegiate Poll. Last season, Georgetown swept all four races versus the Crusaders on Lake Carnegie on April 16.
  • Last week the Crusaders competed at the George Washington Invitational. The second varsity eight earned a first-place finish versus George Washington and the Crusaders' third varsity eight.
  • The Crusaders will next meet EARC member Northeastern (April 21) in Boston. Holy Cross will then compete in three straight regattas on Lake Quinsigamond. The Crusaders will take on EARC opponent Rutgers (April 22), Bucknell (April 29) and then compete at the Eastern Sprints (May 13) as the Crusaders will row against some of the best teams in the nation. Holy Cross will conclude the season pending qualification at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2) in Camden, N.J.
