WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross athletic director Richard M. Regan, Jr., rowing program director Patrick Diggins and head men's rowing coach Todd Pearson have announced the men's schedule for the 2012 spring season. The Crusaders will compete in three events on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester.
Holy Cross will start the season versus fellow EARC members Columbia, Dartmouth and MIT in Pelham, N.Y., on March 31. The Crusaders will then compete at the George Washington Invitational (April 7) and take on EARC opponent Georgetown (April 14) in Princeton, N.J. The Crusaders will then meet EARC member Northeastern (April 21). Holy Cross will compete in three straight regattas on Lake Quinsigamond. The Crusaders will take on EARC opponent Rutgers (April 22), Bucknell (April 29) and then compete at the Eastern Sprints (May 13) as the Crusaders will row against some of the best teams in the nation. Holy Cross will conclude the season pending qualification at the IRA National Championship (May 31-June 2) in Camden, N.J.
