Men's Rowing Competes At Princeton Chase Regatta

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in three races at the Princeton Chase Regatta on Lake Carnegie on Sunday. The Crusaders raced in the varsity heavyweight eight, the varsity heavyweight four and the freshman heavyweight eight.

Holy Cross "A" placed 17th (13:59.95) out of 33 boats in the varsity heavyweight eight race. Holy Cross "B" finished 23rd (14:14.32) and Holy Cross "C" placed 32nd (15:16.40). Princeton "A" won the race with a time of 13:09.23.

In the varsity heavyweight four race, Holy Cross "B" placed 29th (16:07.51) out of 40 boats, while Holy Cross "A" finished 32nd (16:12.59). Cornell won the competition with a time of 14:23.35.

The Crusaders finished 23rd (15:22.33) out of 36 boats in the freshman heavyweight eight. Princeton "A" won with a time of 13:39.59.

The Crusaders return to action when the freshman team concludes the fall season at the Green Monster Regatta on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Hanover, N.H.
