2010-2011: Member of the second varsity eight for all eight of the competitions that took place in the spring…the second varsity eight defeated Bucknell (April 23) and EARC member Rutgers (April 30).

2009-2010: Member of the second varsity eight.

2008-2009: Rowed with the freshman eight that competed at the Eastern Sprints (May 10).

Before Holy Cross: A four-year varsity tennis player under head coach Kevin Pigott, he played first singles and first doubles...team captain his senior year...won the 2008 New York Junior Tennis League Mayor's Cup Brian Watkins Memorial Award...runner-up at the 2008 CCHSA Championships...named the 2008 New York State Comptroller Award winner...was a teammate of fellow Crusader rower Thad Logan...also played club baseball in the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association.

Personal: Son of Catherine and Edward Smith...has one sister, Clare...majoring in Philosophy.
