Men's Rowing Races At Head Of The Charles

BOSTON, Mass. – The Holy Cross men's rowing team competed in three races at the 46th Head of the Charles Regatta on the Charles River on Saturday and Sunday.

In the collegiate eight, Holy Cross finished 23rd out of 42 boats with a time of 15:47.838. Florida Institute of Technology won with a time of 14:43.373. The Crusaders placed 32nd out of 35 boats in the championship eight race with a time of 15:33.459. Washington placed first with a time of 14:00.402. On Saturday, the Crusaders placed 35th out of 58 boats in the club four race with a time of 19:19.429. Peterborough Rowing Club won the race with a time of 16:57.556.

The Crusaders return to action when they compete at the Princeton Chase Regatta in Princeton, N.J., on Sunday, Oct. 31.

Collegiate Eight Race

Holy Cross: Steve Burison (coxswain), Jordan Traub, Pat Rapuano, Mike Walker, Anthony Curro, Andrew Cecchetti, Pete Haney, Paul Gaffney, Bryan Ptucha.
