Men's Rowing Announces 2010-2011 Freshman Class
WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross head men's rowing coach Todd Pearson has announced the 2010-2011 freshman class for the Crusaders. Anthony Curro (North Andover, Mass.), John Gentile (Mays Landing, N.J.), Will Hinshaw (San Anselmo, Calif.), Michael Holvey (Pittsford, N.Y.), Leo Kennedy (Philadelphia, Pa.), Mike Lindsay (King of Prussia, Pa.), Bryan Ptucha (New York, N.Y.), Brendan Siebecker (White Plains, N.Y.) and Jordan Traub (Eastham, Mass.) will join the program in the fall.
"I'm very pleased with the group of student-athletes coming to join our team this fall," said Pearson. "These rowers come from outstanding High School and junior programs from across the country, including some programs that are sending oarsmen to Holy Cross for the first time. They represent one of the strongest recruiting classes ever for the men's rowing team at Holy Cross and, given the success we've had with our current freshmen in the class of 2013, I'm really excited about the trajectory of our team. We strive to improve our position within the EARC and become a national top 20 rowing program and I'm confident that these young men will help us achieve this goal. In addition to their on the water talent, I am impressed with the character and scholarship of this group and I think they will be a real asset to the Holy Cross community."
