Men's Rowing Set For IRA National Championship

  • The Holy Cross men's rowing team will compete at the 108th IRA National Championship on the Cooper River in Camden, N.J., on June 3-5.  Go here to follow the IRAs.
  • At the IRAs, the Crusaders will race in the varsity four competition. The members of the crew are sophomores Tom Gallant (Scotia, N.Y.), Trevor Zaleski (Haddonfield, N.J.), Colin Hayes (Chanhassen, Minn.), Peter Dwyer (Keene, N.Y.) and Steve Burison (Worcester, Mass.).
  • At the 107th IRAs at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif., the Crusaders placed 22nd. Holy Cross' varsity eight finished third out of four teams in the fourth-level final with a time of 6:22.14. It was the first time that the IRAs took place on the west coast.
