  • The Holy Cross men's rowing team will take two weeks off before the team's novices participate in the Green Monster Regatta in Hanover, N.H. on Saturday, Nov. 7. The races are scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.
  • The Crusaders had a busy weekend, first hosting the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. on Saturday, Oct. 24, and participating in the Princeton Chase Regatta on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. on Sunday, Oct. 25.
  • At the Quinsigamond Novice Challenge, the Crusaders' novice A boat coxed by freshman Corey Beck (Short Hills, N.J.) finished first with a time of 13:51.656. They crossed the line nearly a full minute ahead of their nearest competitor, the novice A boat from WPI. Holy Cross' novice B boat, led by freshman coxswain Aaron Thomas, finished in 11th with a time of 16:14.130.
  • At the Princeton Chase Regatta, the Crusaders' first varsity eight, led by senior coxswain Chris Hayden (Garden City, N.Y.), finished the men's heavyweight eight race in 24th place with a time of 14:12.451. The second varsity eight, coxed by sophomore Sean Burison (Worcester, Mass.), took 39th with a time of 15:53.112.
