Before Holy Cross: Rowed for two years at Episcopal Academy...captain of the team his senior year...won the team's Scholar Athlete Award...his team's lightweight 4+ won the 2008 New Jersey State Championship...led the team to two championships at the Head of the Schuylkill Junior Regatta...rowed with the Fairmount Rowing Association, where they were the junior 8+ Philadelphia Youth Regatta champions...also played ice hockey...member of the 2009 Cum Laude Society and the French Honor Society from 2007-2009.
