2008-2009: Sat in the three seat with the second varsity eight, helping the team to a 16th-place finish at the Eastern Sprints (May 10).

2007-2008: Occupied the seven seat in the freshman eight boat.

Before Holy Cross: A three-year rower under head coach Bill Lamb at St. Joseph's Prep in Philadelphia...named first team All-Catholic in 2007...his teams won the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship all four years...in 2006 he earned gold medals at the Philadelphia City Championships as a member of the second varsity lightweight eight, and at the Navy Day Regatta and Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta as a member of the varsity lightweight eight...earned gold medals at the 2007 Philadelphia Catholic League Championships as a member of the varsity lightweight four.

Personal: Son of Pete and Rosey Haney...has one sister, Lauren, who plays on the club golf team at Loyola University in Baltimore...majoring in Economics.
